Pellet machine molds usually use the following four materials.
First, alloy tool steel. For example, Gr12MoV, 9CrSi, etc.
They have high hardness, wear resistance and toughness, and can withstand greater pressure and wear.
Second, stainless steel. For example, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel, etc.
They have good corrosion resistance and are suitable for some occasions that require corrosive environments.
Third, cemented carbide.For example, tungsten-cobalt cemented carbide (YG), tungsten-titanium-cobalt cemented carbide (YT), etc.
It has extremely high hardness and excellent wear resistance, but is relatively brittle.
Fourth, grinding tool steel. For example, 45# steel, 50# steel, etc.
They can also be used to make pellet machine molds after special treatment.
When selecting mold materials, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the working conditions, production requirements, cost and other factors of the pellet machine to ensure that the mold has sufficient strength, wear resistance and service life.
