There are two other types of pellet mills: screw press pellet mill and stamping pellet mill. The die mold head is in front of the machine, it has many die holes, the die holes can be many holes or one large hole. The one large hole is called a briquette making machine. So it can be used as both a pellet mill and a briquette making machine. For example, making biomass briquette or carbon briquette for barbecue are all made with this type of machine.

The working principle of the screw press pellet mill is that after the material comes in, there is a spiral auger pushes the material forward into the die mold, and when it is pushed out from the die mold, it will form a rod-shaped object.
The working principle of the stamping pellet mill is similar to the screw press pellet mill. The difference is that this type uses a punch for stamping press pellets or briquette.
