Wood Pellet Mill Die Storage Environment & Requirements

To maintain pellet mill performance and die service life, follow these storage rules (die = high-precision drilled component; clean die holes = stable output):
Replace oil filler in die after 6+ months of storage (old filler hardens, causing machine clogging during reuse).
Store die in dry, clean, ventilated area. Apply waste oil on surface for long-term inactivity (prevents moisture corrosion). Avoid storing near production raw materials (materials absorb moisture, accelerating die corrosion).
For standby die (removed during pellet mill operation): Use oil-based material to squeeze out all raw materials before shutdown. This prevents die corrosion (moisture in raw materials roughens die holes) and ensures smooth feeding in next use.
