Wood is the most common raw material for producing biomass pellets. However, the pre-treatment processes for different types of wood vary greatly.
To make qualified pellets, two key prerequisites must be met: the raw material moisture content should be controlled within 20%, and the material fineness is optimally kept below 1cm. Therefore, the preliminary crushing process is extremely critical.

First of all, we need to figure out the characteristics of the wood raw material, including its moisture content, log diameter and required production capacity.Checking the moisture content helps determine whether a drying machine is needed. Confirming the log diameter allows us to select a wood chipper with a suitable feed inlet size. Meanwhile, the model of all supporting machine shall be determined according to your actual output demand.
