Storage Environment & Requirements for Wood Pellet Mill Ring Dies

Ring dies for wood pellet mills are processed by high-speed drilling with high smoothness. Smooth die holes are critical to ensure output.
Additional storage requirements:
Replace the oily filler inside the ring die every 6 months. Old filler hardens over time and causes machine blockage during restart.
Store ring dies in a dry, clean and ventilated area. For long-term storage, coat the surface with waste engine oil to prevent corrosion. Keep them away from raw materials, which absorb moisture and accelerate ring die rusting.
If a ring die is removed for standby use, push out all raw materials with oily material before shutdown. This keeps die holes clear and avoids corrosion and rough inner surfaces caused by moist raw materials.
