Waste cloth can be used as raw material for pelletizing. It is also one of the common raw materials for pellet production. After being made into pellets, waste cloth has a wide range of applications. For instance, it can be used as fuel, as cloth pellets boast a relatively high calorific value. In addition, it can be processed into other chemical fiber derivatives.
The machine required for pelletizing waste cloth differs from that for other raw materials. Due to the soft texture of waste cloth, specialized machine is needed for its processing. The pelletizing process parameters remain the same as those for other raw materials: moisture content within 20% and material fineness below 1cm.
Therefore, we first use a fiber cutting machine to shred waste cloth to a size under 1cm. This machine is specially designed for cutting soft raw materials. Equipped with sharp internal blades, it can cut waste cloth into fine fragments efficiently.
If the moisture content of the waste cloth meets the standard, the material can be directly pelletized by our vertical ring die pellet mill. Since the crushed waste cloth material is relatively light, the vertical ring die pellet mill is highly recommended for the pelletizing process.
