For the same crusher, some people say that it can crush three tons of materials in one hour, and some people say that it can crush five tons of materials in one hour. Based on our many years of experience, we have summarized the four factors that affect the crushing efficiency of the crusher.
 

First, the type and moisture content of the material.

Grains with high fiber content such as barley and oats are more difficult to crush. Grains with high starch content such as corn, sorghum, etc. are easier to crush.

Experiments have shown that when the mesh aperture is fine, taking crushed corn and barley as an example, with the same power consumption, the yield of crushed corn is up to three times that of crushed barley.

When the pore size of the screen is relatively coarse, the difference in output between the two crushers is more than 30%.
 

Experiments have determined that crushing corn with a moisture content of 17% will consume 33%-38% less energy than crushing corn with a moisture content of 10%.

The safe storage moisture content of corn is 12%-13%.

It is generally considered uneconomical to crush directly.

If it can be pre-dried before crushing, the crushing efficiency will be greatly improved.
