Improper roller-die gap
Pellets are formed by extrusion between the press roller and the die. If the gap is too tight, normal discharging is hindered and overheating occurs. Adjust the gap to the appropriate size (refer to the machine manual for specific parameters).
Worn wear rings/sealing rings
Impurities in raw materials can get stuck in wear rings or sealing rings, causing abnormal wear, severe dust leakage, and smoking. Replace the worn rings immediately.
Excessive or uneven feeding speed
Feeding must be uniform, and the amount should match the machine’s rated capacity. Uneven speed (too fast/slow) or overfeeding will block the feed inlet; failing to stop the feeder in time will cause the mill to stall. Adjust the feeding speed or control the feed amount.
