Oversized compression ratio selection If the pellet machine worked normally before: First check if the material has changed. After switching to high-density materials, adjust the mold’s compression ratio (an oversized ratio often causes stalling). Replace with a mold of smaller compression ratio if confirmed.
Uneven and overly fast feeding Check feeding uniformity: An overly thick or fluctuating material layer leads to unstable current and eventual stalling. Use an insert plate to control layer thickness (keep it thin), and adjust feeding amount by regulating the conveyor speed via frequency conversion.
Unstable moisture content of materials For unstable material moisture: Mixed dry and wet materials cause stalling — dry materials first form dense, high-resistance pellets, and subsequent soft wet materials can’t push them forward. Adjust material moisture to 13%-18% and mix evenly.
Loose pressure roller gap If pressure roller adjustment bolts are loose (causing excessive gap, overly thick pre-pressed layer and high equipment resistance): Simply readjust the pressure roller gap.
Impurities in materials (e.g., iron, stones, large wood chunks) For impurities in materials: Screen the materials and remove iron before feeding them into the pellet machine.
