Focus on checking for residual caking, blockage, and inner wall wear/grooving in the die holes of the pellet mill:
Minor Blockage (no more than 3 blocked holes): Use a tungsten steel cleaning pin of corresponding diameter (0.1-0.2mm smaller than the die hole) to unclog from the outer side to the inner side of the pellet mill’s ring die. Do not strike forcefully to prevent deformation of the pellet mill’s die holes.
Die Hole Grooving (obvious scratches on the inner wall): If the grooving depth is less than 0.2mm, the pellet mill’s ring die can continue to be used but the maintenance cycle must be shortened; if the depth exceeds 0.2mm, it will result in rough pellet surface and easy breakage, and the pellet mill’s ring die needs to be replaced.
