Concentrated feed pellets (corn, soybean meal, etc.)
Pay attention to pelleting chamber temperature: Contain starch and protein; use temperature-controllable or low-temperature models to avoid nutrient loss from overheating.
Choose small-hole dies: 2-8mm die holes recommended for small pellets suitable for pigs, chickens, etc.
Prioritize high-speed main engines: Efficient for easy-compression materials, ideal for small to medium-scale production.
Roughage pellets (straw, grass meal, etc.)
Emphasize roller and die material: Use high manganese steel or alloy to resist wear from crude fiber.
Require long conditioning time: Opt for models with extended conditioners to fully soften crude fiber and reduce clogging.
Choose large-hole dies: 8-12mm die holes recommended for coarse pellets suitable for cattle, sheep, etc.
