Uses: Rice husk is a good renewable biomass raw material. It is processed into fuel pellets through a pellet machine, converted into rice husk gas through gasification, and directly burned to produce steam or heat, which can be used for power generation, heating, etc. Rice husk can also be used to make high-quality activated carbon, adsorbents, carbon black, silica, silicon carbide, potassium silicate and other chemical products. Rice husk as a biomass resource is renewable compared to oil, natural gas and coal. In 1971, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations predicted that the most practical use of rice husk would be to provide energy as fuel.

Advantages of rice husk pellets

After the rice husk is pressed into pellets, the volume density is greatly increased, making it easier to transport and store in large quantities.Rice husk pellets burn cleaner. Before being made into pellets, rice husks leave 15-16% ash when burned. The ash content after pelletizing is only about 6-7%.Rice husk pellets can be burned fully and efficiently with a calorific value of 3200-3500 k-cal. The calorific value is moderate and suitable for large boilers.
