If the pellets produced by the feed pelletizer have an uneven surface, are loose, or have irregular edges, they are prone to powdering during transportation.
Insufficient conditioning, improper moisture content (too low or too high), or improper temperature (too low or too high) during conditioning can significantly affect pellet quality. In particular, low moisture content or temperature can result in loose pellets, increased pellet breakage rates, and higher powdering rates.
If the grading screen powder outlet is blocked, the screening capacity is poor, and the feed contains a high percentage of powder.
