To understand why the bearing of the wood pellet machine's press roller keeps failing, it is first necessary to understand the structure of the wood pellet machine's press roller: the press roller primarily consists of an eccentric shaft, a roller shell, and bearings. The function of the press roller is to compress the material into the die holes, where it is formed under pressure.

The roller bearing has burned out, and there are two possible causes:

1. High temperature. Due to the high-speed rotation of the roller bearing and the influence of the eccentric force of the roller, the roller bearing is subjected to both friction force and the squeezing force from the die, causing the temperature to naturally rise. Therefore, proper lubrication of the bearing is crucial. Our flat die pellet machines and vertical ring die pellet machines both use automatic roller lubrication technology. On average, every 30 minutes, the system automatically applies oil for 20 seconds, effectively addressing the issue of bearing burnout caused by manual lubrication and operators neglecting to lubricate the bearings.

2. During high-speed rotation, gaps inevitably form in the rollers, allowing fine powder from wood chips to enter the rollers. This powder mixes with the lubricant in the roller bearings, causing friction and heat retention, which hinders heat dissipation and leads to bearing damage. Our ring die wood chip pellet machines are equipped with dust extraction fans, effectively preventing powder ingress while also cooling the rollers and dies.
