Pellet Mill Oil Circuit Pipeline Inspection and Maintenance Specification

The oil circuit pipelines must be inspected on a regular basis, with a focus on the oil lines inside the pellet mill’s pelletizing chamber. Before the start of each work shift, a mandatory inspection must be performed to check for loose screws, poor sealing, or oil leakage.
If oil leakage occurs at the joint, wrap the joint with PTFE thread seal tape in a timely manner before retightening it, to ensure the oil line is well-sealed and free of oil leakage.
After each roller disassembly, when the oil circuit joints are opened and reassembled, the joints must be re-wrapped with PTFE thread seal tape. The machine can only be started after confirming that the pipelines are free of oil leakage.
During daily operation, the pellet mill operator must constantly monitor the oil level in the gearbox. If the oil level drops, stop the machine immediately to inspect whether there is poor sealing or oil leakage at the oil circuit joints.
