Drum chipper features advanced structure, high chip quality, wide raw material adaptability, and easy operation & maintenance. Compact and rational in design, it boasts simple operation, strong productivity, reliable safety, and cost-effectiveness, saving time and initial investment for users.
Composed of machine body, cutter roller, upper/lower feed rollers, conveyor belt, and hydraulic system, it adopts a high-strength steel welded machine body as the supporting base. The cutter roller is equipped with 2-4 flying knives, fixed via pressure blocks and special bolts. The upper feed roller can float up and down within a certain range via hydraulic system to adapt to different raw material thicknesses. Qualified chips fall through the screen mesh and are discharged from the bottom, while oversize chips are re-chipped inside.
The hydraulic system supplies oil to the cylinder to open the cover for knife replacement. It also lifts the upper feed roller during maintenance, facilitating adjustment of the gap between flying knives and fixed knives, as well as assembly/disassembly of the comb plate.
