Benefits of processing organic fertilizer into pellets

1. Easier application. Some organic fertilizers have low bulk density; when applied in farm fields, they are prone to being blown away by wind. Organic fertilizer processed by the pellet mill forms uniform pellets, making the fertilizer much simpler and more even to spread in field application.

2. Inorganic ingredients can be added to improve fertilizer efficiency. Powder-form fertilizer tends to absorb moisture and cake once inorganic components are blended in. The pellet mill can fully mix organic and inorganic raw materials and press them into stable pellets, effectively solving the caking problem of mixed powder fertilizer and greatly improving the overall fertilizer efficiency.

3. Powder-type materials require low moisture content and fine crushing. Moisture removal is the biggest bottleneck in organic fertilizer production, which normally demands drying treatment. The pellet mill pelletizing process perfectly avoids the tedious drying step required for powder fertilizer production. Sufficient friction and extrusion heat is naturally generated during the working process of the pellet mill, which can remove excess moisture from materials.
