1.Vertical Ring Die Pellet Mill: The die stays stationary while the rollers rotate. Material is fed vertically, more direct and smooth.
Horizontal Ring Die Pellet Mill: The rollers stay stationary while the die rotates. This design only allows side feeding. The static rollers block fluffy biomass materials, which easily pile up and cause poor feeding.
Horizontal Ring Die Pellet Mill: Auxiliary pushing is required for feeding. Discharge is affected by the rotating die, pellets are unstable and prone to breakage.
3.Vertical Ring Die Pellet Mill: Its gearbox is specially designed for hard-to-bond biomass materials, with a safety factor up to 2.5, delivering better stability and efficiency.
Horizontal Ring Die Pellet Mill: Its gearbox adopts the same structure as automotive rear axle differential. It is not a heavy-duty gearbox and is not well suited for the demanding biomass pelletizing industry.
4.Compared with the horizontal ring die pellet mill, the vertical ring die pellet mill achieves better heat dissipation.
